Super League Gaming is seeking a passionate, proven leader to oversee the company’s Super League branded social media and community activities across platforms, including Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and more. In short, we are looking for a social media engagement Jedi who loves video games and esports!
You’re the ideal candidate if you have demonstrated repeated success in building and growing social media audiences using both established best practices and nuanced techniques that emerge as trends and algorithms change over time. While you may not have worked in the gaming industry, you have a deep knowledge of multiple video game titles, you love playing video games, you follow social accounts of gaming influencers and gaming companies, you are active in social and digital gamer communities, and you spend a lot of time in Discord.
You also understand what types of content resonate on social platforms and how to leverage social media content and conversation to drive brand affinity and to influence customer behavior in ways that support business objectives. You have experience balancing the needs for social platforms to serve as a source of customer acquisition, a support mechanism for customer service, and a distribution channel for information.
You will be responsible for setting and implementing the social media strategy across platforms through a disciplined approach that blends creative thinking with data-driven decision-making. You will be hands-on in your work as the publisher of content and the primary conduit to our community, while also collaborating with other members of the Marketing team, as well as the Creative, Editorial, Customer Support, and SuperLeagueTV studio teams.
Your success will depend upon your ability to be an authentic communicator who loves talking to gamers, loves learning about people, and loves building a connected and actively engaged social media community.
